HS/Buy Van Associates, Inc. has been the manufacturer's representative for Effikal since 1989 when it was called Michigan Furnace. Their founder, a proud immigrant named Karl, brought the idea over from Europe to add electric vent dampers to boilers and furnaces. Effikal designs and manufactures electric vent, flue, and barometric dampers.
